What the desk watches

Czechia buys metals. The usual path is sea to Hamburg and then rail into the country, two to four days after discharge.

Usual basis

• Wagon numbers on the rail waybill.
• Inspection at discharge when the deal requires it.
• Certificate of origin before the bank accepts the set.

A desk note. The carrier named in the deal states its own rate and its own document.
